I had a few hours on my friends laptop so i thought i would treat you all to a poem :)
Lyrics below, enjoy!

in this video im a poet and here the reason why
a viral video on youtube of a rhyming guy
his words seem deep mysterious and cool
but when you actually listen he's a contradicting fool

it is of course "why i hate religion but love jesus"
but all i hear is contradictions which he hopes will please us
by us i dont mean atheists i mean the religious
who rationalize their beliefs by being fallacious

as i watch and listen i realize the truth
that you dont actually give reasoning or proof
the point your trying to make to me is unclear
you say you hate religion but religion is all i hear

you say "What if I told you, Jesus came to abolish religion?"
then you are lying or a fool as this is a contradiction
To believers Jesus came and started this insanity
after all what would it be without the "Christ" in Christianity.
I found your whole poem without merit or truth
as i listened with open mind waiting for the proof
the proof of your statement jesus and religion are not the same
but all i heard was nonsense , contradicting your own claim.

next in your poem we have an interesting quote
how in the end you use Jesus as a scapegoat.

" see I played this game too; no one seemed to be on to me,
I was acting like a church kid, while addicted to pornography.
see on sunday id go to church, but saturday getting faded,
Acting as if I was simply created to just have sex and get wasted.
see i Spend my whole life building this façade of neatness,
But now that I know Jesus, I boast in my weakness."

so you were a teenager doing what they do
getting drunk, having sex this is nothing new
but you regretted something's and did the impossible
instead of taking the blame you changed who was responsible

you see when you repent your sins and jesus takes them away
you free yourself of blame so you can do it the next day
what you should do is look at the reality
step back look at your faults and take responsibility

atheists take responsibility for what we do and what we say
as there is no God to take our sins away
there is no higher being and no second chances
we have to get it right the first time or live with the consequences

religion is a scapegoat, a guilt extermination
you bury responsibility when you find salvation

you live your life knowing that if you rape, murder or steal,
you can simply repent, I can see the appeal
but for now let's move on with the poem in question
How "Jesus and religion are on opposite spectrums"

so listening to your words its blatantly clear
that you cant back a single thing up from what I can hear
you never actually say how Jesus and religion
are different from one another in your fallacious vision

you say you hate religion yet you believe in sin,
love the bible , love the church, what reality are you in?
i'll ask a simple question that should clear up my confusion
make you think about your poem being a contradictory delusion

the question is what does your view take from the equation
its obvious that jesus and religion are in direct relation.

this question seems to be what the poet is delaying,
religion minus ??? = what this guy is saying.

I would love to hear the answer as i can't seem to find it
saying Jesus abolishes religion has no logic behind it

so im asking what have you taken away from religion
to get where you are in your personal vision

the fact is you have taken nothing away
all i hear is religion in everything you say
you preach christianity the more i search through
you love the bible, believe in sin and love the church too

now im not the only atheist who has done a reply
but i simply had to do one to get through to this guy
or even his followers who dont understand
that his poem is fallacious even though it's in demand
I recommend that his followers see the truth
and watch other videos owning him as proof
that what hes saying is complete nonsense
and his whole poem has no defence

try theamzingatheist and the upload from coctupus
they PWN your video to the ground and speak for all of us

so to all my fellow atheists subscribers and all in session
please go to his video and ask my question
this has been the UKAtheist as a poet for just today
please like and subscribe and come back my way

  • How can I find "the upload from coctupus"?

  • @LB030377 just search coctopusprime :)

  • I totally agree with you,, Apart from the fact you have "Theukathiest" wrote n the title..An athiest is,and i am sure you know this,is someone who disbeleive's in God,not religion..Christianity is in contradiction with each other, even though the bible say's it was written for simple men to understand..So who acually understand's the bible? certainly no the pope or his merry men...

  • @drugsguru "I totally agree with you,, Apart from the fact you have "Theukathiest" wrote n the title..An athiest is,and i am sure you know this,is someone who disbeleive's in God,not religion"

im not quite sure what you are getting at here. Yes an atheist lacks belief in a God, but most of us also think religion is a poison and causes nothing but trouble, it indoctrinates fear and disables independence. i am not sure what it is you disagree about with my name to be honest?

  • this isn't about religion anymore it's about Jesus and we all are the corruptions that he is trying to save it's not about who is right it's just that simple you don't even need to be a christian to believe in it you don't even need anyone's approval I know what he is talking about because I am a former atheist. look up dead sea scroll's

  • I love it. Subscribed. I wanted to do an atheist version but I think you hit it on the head.

  • very nice

  • @LeonhardEuler1 The answer is in the audience. If I'm using the language of Italian with a fellow Italian, we will fully understand one another. But suppose a German/American/Thai/Chinese person who is unfamiliar with the language overhears our conversation in Italian, it will sound like complete and utter nonsense. The audience is the key.

  • @TheBottleKids did you read my last comment? the title is not mine, its a response, i do not hate no one. hate is a word with different amounts of negativity, i can say " i hate cabbages " but that does mean i literally hate them . it means i dislike them. hate is a word which is used in difference ways with different people.

religion causes negativity towards others, hate is a word which describes it, but hate can also mean a less harsh negativity. there is no point debating about it really.

  • @TheBottleKids you do understand this is a response video and the title is from the original video which is not from me? I don't hate anything or anyone either. Also I think you are digging too deep into the meaning of a single weird which people throw around these days like nothing anyway.
