I wonder if G&G are taking the piss as well as talking about it. I think their whole lives have been dedicated to taking the piss out of us the viewer and making a mockery (deservedley so) of the pompous art world. Keep it up boys!

Of course mockery is a significant factor in their work, but please don't underestimate them; they have a distinctive vision and a poetry of their own.

they are having fun, but no they aren't taking the piss out of us, they are sincere, they don't need to mock the awful things in the art world because the 'other' they offer is so much more thorough than the things that need mocking
