Yeah, but isn't the best of this bit missing? Doesn't this begin with Pete scrunched down behind the accordion and walk out to the mic which is adjusted for a normal sized person. Of course the audience does not know he is really a normal sized person. They of course think some stage hand f*cked up. Then Pete would stand up, and the audience would just roar with laughter.

Yes, Pete is very hip, and Pete is not playing to the audience or to the viewers. He is playing to the camermen and the stage hands, and to the musicians. He used to do a bit where he would have the super big cigar, lit, of course, and would start to play a few cords on the piano..... stop....stand up....open the seat/bench and take out a plunger, and

slap it right on the piano and put is cigar in it.Cigar Holder Now that Charlie Callas is gone, Pete is the only one left of the hipsters left.

A great cordeen Bit!  Pete used to stay at Pegs Dad's House! He used to book him in Grand Rapids.

I remember watching this back in 1986. He did a couple of bits before starting the accordion lesson bit.
