You are a truly clueless idiot. Viva Franco? Viva 40 years of opression and isolation of the spanish people? Viva oscurantism and censorship?

If you dont know what youre talking about then just dont say anything. Your comment is insulting.

Sure take the high ground, I was talking about the fact that if the "popular" front had won, there would have been bickering between anarchists and socialists, further supression of the catholic church and eventual soviet style dictatorship leading to inevitable collapse in the early 90's leaving Spain a weak post-communist blank spot like many former eastern bloc countries, opression, isolation, oscurantism and censorship would have still taken place.
You sir, are the clueless idiot

I take the high ground for a reason; because I am certain that the communist/post communist hellscape you describe inyour comment would never have occurred, with people like Manuel Azana leading the country. The second republic was in many ways more progressive and modern (politically speaking of course) than most other countries at the time. I disagree with you sir, and believe your original comment is both tactless and insulting to those who suffered under the Franco-regime.

For the love of fuck, I made one off-colour remark and i'm scorned for life

What I meant was the following, had there been a third entity in the war, a democratic one I would have supported them, but the unfortunate truth was that the only side that opposed communism was a far-right side
