Rail action along the North Geelong to Ballarat and Maryborough line on 15 January 2004. Included are the usual northbound empty wheat trains, along with diverted freights due to the regional fast rail works that were underway on the Geelong line at the time.

During these works, several V/Line locos were hired to Freight Australia and N474 plus A70 can be seen on 9441 empty log train at Navigators, along with B65 which was on hire from WCR.

Steamrail, Great Northern and SRHC were also hiring their locos as can be seen with S313, T373 and T320 behind FA's X43 on 9230 and T356 as the fourth unit on 9123 behind FA's G514, S306 and X31

Apologies for the excessive camera noise in this video. It wasn't all mine!
