You are talking utter rubbish, the Bee Gees were massive in South America..yet they are not Hispanic, they also topped the r&b charts but they are not black. The top selling bands were popular throughout the world for their music...nothing more, my parents loved Nat King Cole...colour never came into our minds or conversation, people simply spent their money on the music that they liked. Just look how popular Motown was, and still is around the world, do not turn this into a race issue!

To reiterate...this is not about creed,class or colour...I merely stated the facts...If I like a song...the last thing on my mind is the artists colour, also you must remember this is not just about the USA..there are millions of music lovers outside of America, like me they have voted with their money.

Elvis selling 1 Billion has been certified and if you have ever been to Graceland you would have seen for yourself. The record companies actually went through and verified every one of his single releases and every one of his album sales. They issued gold and platinum records to the estate based on the VERIFIED sales at that time. I have seen the display that was created with them. His music has continued to sell with the release of the Number 1's and Love Songs CD's which also sold millions.

Ben, you can mend a broken heart. :-) Try going to all experts dot com, find the teens section, and then choose a counselor who seems right for you.I work voluntarily there, but my area is teen suicide prevention.
