www.schoolofthelegends.com/phillipdaniels | Working out at Monster Garage Gym pulling 585, 635 and 675 off the floor. Being 6'6" it isn't a easy task but I do a pretty good job of it. God is good all the time.

  • DAAAAMN dude that's some impressive feats of strength, you're a total hoss.

I really hope I don't sound like an asshole or anything but on that first lift I just gotta say it looks like you bend your back a little too much, isn't the right form to keep a straight back the whole time? I just don't want to see you get a back injury my man, that can be devastating and/or career ending . . .

  • @D119heavy Being 6'6" and not a powerlifting body type, your back has no choice but bend a little. I hear this all the time but people fail to realize my height. My back has never gave me problems and as you can see is very strong. I train my back harder than I train my deadlift so no worries. There is not one powerlifter who goes 6'6" tall. The deadlift is the only lift where I cannot hold form because I'm so tall. Thanks for the concern. Take care

  • How do you fit power lifting in with your team workouts or do you just do this in the off season ?

    HTTR.

  • @ArmondoOrtiz76Lincol I do most of my powerlifting in the off season and maintain it during the season. Monday, Tuesday and Wed. are days that I can go a little heavier during the season. I didn't powerlift a whole lot last off season due to having to learn a new scheme and working with the team. The lockout has allowed me to go all in this off season which is a good thing and a bad.

  • We need you in New Orleans. I' l talk with Greg Williams and Sean Payton.

  • @BigGravyTheClown Lol. I'm good but I played for Gregg Williams and he is a good coach. One of my favorites.

  • Thank you for being such a great Redskin. I wish you well in FA and hope you and your family find a great fit. Can't wait to see you back as a coach in DC when you are done playing ball.

  • do you still live in ga i wanna train with you 4 real.....

  • nice lifts, i watched your squat video also, very impressive for a big man....oh, and this is comeing from a cowboys fan! ;)

  • I enjoy the fact that I've been in his house. Makes these videos even better

  • Tooo sickkk

  • @Thatboyphil93 Being able to dead lift any weight is good. I noticed that your hips, low back and mid back not only strain but bend- At 6'6'" as you say, you can protect your spine, buttocks, abdomen by hyperextensions if you have the equipment. Or Can you keep your back straight?

Again, your strength for lifting heavy weights is commendable

    Stay with it!!

  • @Thatboyphil93 Maybe you could try pulling sumo? I believe you would greater poundages, since you are 6'6''. Anyhow, great pulling!

  • great lifts!!

  • is there any truth to the claim that deadlifting packs mass or helps the lifter to gain weight? just checkin...

  • Awesome work big man you made those pulls look easy very impressive, stay strong bro

  • No wraps, no suit... the man is a freakin' beast! Great explosive power. Respect!
