Kidd Video Episode #10 Euphonius - 1 of 2

Behold Sparkle City, where the land, people, and even the food are made of jewels.  Kidd & Co. get there to find a party is in the works, as Euphonius has just laid an egg.  After the Copy Cats steal the egg for Master Blaster's breakfast, Euphonius becomes upset and roars.  Sparkle City starts to shatter.  Only Ash can save the day with his bad songs and the Groove Machine. (This is an incomplete episode... the middle is missing.)

No decade will ever beat the 1980's! It had the absolute best Satarday morning cartoons ever concieved of. I grew up watching these cartoons, Kidd Video, Dinosaucers, and The Real Ghostbusters being my favorites.

@BurnRoddy OOPS! Sorry, I just realized that my original reply (as well as the last one), was meant for llamatangent, and was regarding the part where the towers are singing lol. Wish I knew the name of the song where Euphonius is revealed. It's one of those 'generic' songs that replaced the original popular music. In the original (and on the French version), they played a Duran Duran song when Euphonius revealed herself. But this song is cool too. I'd google it, but I can't make out the lyrics.

actually, it was definitely the song on the French version of this episode (I just watched it). It was most likely the original song they used for that segment on the US version. However, after the show was canceled, they started showing reruns of the show, and they replaced a lot of the popular music with 'generic' 80s music that was performed by unknown artists ( this probably had something to do with not wanting to pay steep royalties for the rights to continue using the songs).

The song was Don't Answer Me by Alan Parsons Project. Youtube it. I'm sure that's what it was. Let me know if that's it.

I've always remembered this episode and the song the guy sang!!! Wow!!! I'm 39 years old and this song was stuck in my head!!! Tell me do you have Sweet Sue at the Sweet Shop from the Electric Company? Thanks...Mellodee123
