Longevity, load-bearing capacity and durability ? the proven and, depending on the vehicle, particularly strong chassis and frame components of the TGS WW completely satisfy the requirements of the non-European target markets for heavy-duty trucks. The resilient frame structure made of fine-grained structural steel acts as the backbone for this extremely strong vehicle.
The standard tubular cross members are riveted while the final cross member is attached by vibration-resistant screw connections with an auto-release inhibitor. The frame concept is thus ideal for trailer operation. The picture shows the frame structure of the 6x6 truck chassis.
Of course, the correct axle configuration and suspension type are also available for the TGS WW for all operating conditions.
Two or three-leaf, low-friction parabolic springs are used for front axle suspension depending on the load-bearing capacity.
Parabolic springs with vibration dampers on the rear axle provide a high level of driving comfort. The traditional trapezoidal leaf spring is optionally available.
Individual models are also available with air-sprung rear axles. Four-bellow suspension with a progressive spring characteristics curve and an adjustable height-level guarantee the best possible driving comfort and provide maximum protection for the load and the body.
