Helmet cam test @ Guisborough Woods, just trying it out in different lights to see how it copes. The camera was mounted to my handlebars, will have to have another go with it on my helmet. Wasn't the best of days, some of the trails where really really boggy, making them impossible to ride - well, quickly anyways. You can see the bits that have been badly chewed up by the diggers, it's a right mess up there at the minute.

Camera: ATC5K
Rider: Dale

  • where abouts is that downhill through the trees m8

  • If you go to the top of the unsuitables, see where the gate is in the first part of the video? Just turn left there and there is a gap in the trees, there is a couple of different routes but I wouldn't recommend them in the wet because they are quite hard to ride.

  • mess isnt the word mate all it is now is just felled trees how much was the camera mate cause im thinking about getting one

  • I'm planning on trying Hamsterley or something instead next, haven't been there yet..

Camera was £150 quid off the internet, I originally bought the 3k, but I hate the fact that it doesn't have a screen, makes it really difficult to setup so if you do get one, make sure its the 5k you get because believe me you will regret it!

  • anyone familiar with the last name "Tilley" in Guisborough?

My grandmother was born in Guisborough along with her brothers and sisters..she met my grandfather (who was from Canada) during World War ll ..they fell in love got married and he brought her to Canada ( she was what they called a "war bride")...I think she got to go back to her home for a visit in the late 70s (that was the last time) ...so her homeplace will forever be special to me.
