  • I was born in '49, but this music from the early '40's continued to play into the early '50's. It's so romantic. Not the war, but the music seemed to sooth the mind/soul. If we only had more Big Band music to listen and dance to today it would be wonderful.

  • I keep revisiting this video. And everytime I hear this music, I get goose bumps. It makes me emotional. Thank you so much for posting.

  • This song was played and my grandfathers funeral and at the end taps started. He was at Pearl Harbor the day of the bombing. Everyday before I go to sleep I listen to this and cry because of how amazing it is. No music to this day can't match the emotions filled in this one song.

  • at´s a beautifull lovesong. for all

  • @fromthesidelines How appropriate that James Stewart would be chosen to play the role of Glenn Miller. James Stewart flew 26 combat missions over Europe from England and was a true hero...

  • This was my parents' song. I loved it even in the 1960s when I was young. I do wish they had at least some sweet music like this today. We need it to sooth our troubled souls.

  • This video should start about one minute earlier. I love this scene from the beginning. Im 47 and was taught to appreciate big band (swing) music - as a child.

  • I'm 46 years young and this is still, by far, the best music ever made!

  • wobei ich dennoch sagen mus das mir moonlight sonate besser gefällt!

  • great tune
