@Hanniboom -- What part of 'The Land is not for Sale' does this poster not understand? Like most Native Indian Tribes, their nations were democratic in practice, not just principle as it is with the anglos who conquered and plundered them -- the Tribe did not cede to the proferred terms of the enforced 'sale' of their Homeland. Why would they barter for livestock instead? Besides, their tradition wasn't as herders but hunter/gatherers.

@trisgilmour Are you taking the piss? It's nothing got to do with whether they were moderate or not, but rather how they treated others in the process. Yes the British Empire was very advanced but many indigenous populations had to suffer in order for this to happen, e.g. the slave trade on plantations. Also putting your comment in caps doesn't make it any more valid and frankly makes you look stupid.
