belt cp are good looking helicopters but the STOCK electronics that came with it sucks ,i used to have a couples

Dont use training gear, it only makes crashes worse.

if your learning Yes. I find it the most rugged for crashes. if your really good then may be carbon fiber.

so aluminum is the way to go then ?

Well so far every time i've had a boom strike on aluminum its dented or been minor damaged to the boom but every time with a carbon fibre boom it's been cut clean off with just the belt holding on.

so you are saying the carbon fiber is only good if you need to loose weight, but for durability, get aluminum ?

Ouch I had a similar crash js ysterday, hit a garden table leg with one of my blades, crack! I know the feeling. I'm in the process of repairs huhu =( gotta replace one main gear and both new blades. Check my vid of my first crash.

Yes he knows that, was having issues with the ends catching and almost flipping over so he turned it around but then gave bugger all protection as which showed in the video.
