The ark is NONSENSE:As an example, there are 106 schools in the Christian College Coalition. Of those 106 only 5 teach a literal interpretation of the Genesis account of creation or that the flood was global & the flood prevailed the highest peaks

Whether humans have been around for 66k is irrelevant - if macro-evolution is true then chimpanzees will one day give birth to 'improved' versions - let me know when that happens. I believe in 'micro' evolution - we'll have variations of chimpanzees - but keep dreaming if you think they will 'evolve' into talking apes one day or whatever you think they will become in the future. And dont try and escape by saying they have 'stopped' evolving.

It's not "obvious" that the Chinese didnt notice the flood - there is an ancient Chinese alphabetical character that mentions 8 people on a 'boat'. .obviously you havent heard of that - or if you have you're ignoring it. .The flood happened before the Egyptians were around so obviously they wouldnt have noticed it - they wouldnt have had exact details of it - if thats what you meant by noticeing it. . The exact date of the worldwide flood cannot be calculated with certainty

a lot of central mexico also have flood legends, NONE of them similar to the Mayan one OR the one in Genesis. the closest one comes from Veracruz mexico, where a god DID tell a man to build an ark and take all "useful animals" aboard, but it did NOT last a year and "After the deluge came and went, the man began to cook the bodies of the dead animals.
