You need to shoot some video and don't do any fancy editing... just straight from camera type stuff, and be sure to note what lens you use. I've seen some really cool stuff so far, but nobody ever tells what lens they use and what other stuff they put on the camera(external mic, filters, ect..)

my vlog is encoding right now. I routed audio into the camera and it was shot with the super cheap ef-s 18-55 lens

Yea little dark, couldn't see shit all detail. And I've figured out you don't like pretty much anything except camera bodies. They should sell them in plastic carrier bags for people like you. Gz on getting it though, it sounds... average.

I've read where the 7D records great audio if you use an external mic. Beachtek makes an XLR adaptor for DSLRs.

Love your video, you do however need some serious lighting, your area is poorly lit making item very hard to see in detail. Just a suggestion. Thanks for your great effort and videos. They are much appreciated.

I actually do that to a lot of my friends.

Whenever someone I know has a brand new phone, camera etc, and they let me see it I always pretend to drop it as they hand it over to me. The look on their face is priceless.
