@EzeLuke Their all the fucking same. my god, every fucking video i see a comment just like this.

@Xmaggot93X wrong, with any decent gaming mouse you can bind a button other than the left or right mouse button to those functions. Melee and switching weapons is effortless on the PC while moving at the same time. And COD on consoles may be competitive, but compared to the level it is on PC it's laughable.

@grineflip Firstly, I agree that all RTS games and most RPGs (with the exception of Fable) should never be played on anything but a PC.
I compare WASD + mouse to the stick because they're both directional. In terms of the comparison between controller buttons and keyboard keys, it's about the same. If you want to melee or change weapons, it restricts your ability to steer your character.
High competition is still alive in all CoDs on all consoles. For X360 Blops, look up:

@CondeJorge Assuming that you're talking about using the mouse to steer the camera and not move the entire player (like a right analog stick would do), then the mouse is just as efficient at controlling as is the analog stick. The only difference is in the actual player movement, and WASD gets the job done, but it's simply not as rotational as the analog stick. It's all a strafe.
The only things advantageous about PC gaming are custom mouses, with their extra side buttons for grenades/sprint.

@Xmaggot93X pt. 2: games like Quake and CS will never be as competitive on a console as they are on a PC. The same goes for games like WoW, WC3, SC2 and DotA. On the other hand there are also competitive games that work pretty well for consoles that wouldn't work as well on the computer - like fighting games and of course Halo. A good example of how many competitive fps wont be as competitive on console is Call of Duty. There hasn't been any console version that is as competitive as CoD4 for pc.

@Xmaggot93X yeah we all have our opinions. But why do you compare WASD to the analog stick? It would be more fair to compare the arrow buttons and the x, o, square, triangle buttons (I'm not familiar with the names for xbox as I own a PS3) with the keyboard of a pc and the analog stick with the mouse. The keyboard and mouse give you a higher skillcap for fps games and are more suited to fps that require a lot of teamwork. The keyboard+mouse also give you a lot more opportunities for rts/rpg's.
-
@Xmaggot93X Did you even dare to mention WASD without mentioning mouse controls?
Your argument is invalid.
-
@grineflip I'm not concerned the slightest bit with how many games competitive PC gaming events exist. Also, WASD will always give you less control than will a fully rotational analog stick. And it would be idiotic to think that there aren't pro X360 players, or X360 competitive gaming events. I just feel like, given the controls, X360 gives players more of a competitive experience than a PC will, and this is coming from a longtime PC gamer. No amount of arguing will change that opinion.

@Xmaggot93X PC's are excellent for competitive fps games. Could you imagine playing Counter Strike on console? Competitive play doesn't have such a huge problem with cheaters as some people say. There are just almost no competitive games for Xbox/PS3. The vast majority of the games that are played at big events such as Dreamhack are for PC. Console gaming cannot match that and it never will. Console gaming is for people that don't see gaming as a sport and just wanna chill.

@grineflip Wow, not that my comment was over a year old or anything.
And sure, I'll go snipe on MW2. You know, the version with dedicated servers.
PC gaming was not made for competitive play in FPS like MW2. Not in the slightest bit. Maybe for Diablo or Crysis or anything of that nature, but not MW2. Especially with all the PC hackers.
stfu fag, you dont know shit about gaming, consoles are for 12 year olds and middle aged men.
