A Level Composition Fantasia for Piano and Clarinet

This piece is called Fantasia for Piano and Clarinet. Sorry about the crappy sibelius recording, and quality of the picture.

I had to compose a piece which sounds like one of the five schools of music (impressionism, expressionism, nationalism, neo-classicalism, and minimalism), I chose the neo-classical style, that's why you'll hear dissonance in the piece.

It initialy started off as a waltz, but I thought after a while it sounded more like a fantasy, even though in some parts have a strong waltz feel.

what school do you go to or like what exam board are you with because we didnt have to compose a piece that fitted into the five schools of music, i think we could do whatever we wanted just as long as it was tonal, so we must be doing different exam boards to eachother.

@cedickson1 I did the exam with WJEC, not the best exam board in the world but our teachers made us do it with this! xD You probably did AQA am I right?

@naffanharrison no i did CCEA you probably havent heard of it, its northern irish lol but i take it the A level is generally the same, you still do listening, writing, practical and composition yea?
