  • Asimo can be used via remote but then can also be disconnected and keep following its installed program. QRIO is preprogrammed for a routine but is not autonomous by any means. Both of the robots are using 'learning' technology whereby the said robot can 'feel' its way around an obstruction and then remember for future reference. I find Asimo more creepy due to its larger size (same as a small child) whereas Qrio, despite its great accomplishments, still seems like a toy....

  • scary how far we have come, robots will be the future no doubt, but what if they will be used for war purposes? scary thought?

  • Amazing. Soon it will replace robosapien. That could cost like £100 in a few years (or decades rather).
