Andrew's Football Injury - 2003

Andrew cracked a vertabrae in his neck on this play during the last game of his Junior season at Pelham NH in the Fall of 2003. First diagnosed as nothing more than a stinger until nearly a month later and his left arm was still numb. Turned out to be cracked vertabrae requiring spinal fusion surgery.

He's okay now...no more football though. He came back from surgery and won NH State Championship in Wrestling a year after this injury.

Thats aweful! My boyfriend broke his back when he played football in high school it was the worst thing ever! it took a lot of srgery and terapy. but there was no more football after that tho whats sad is he was in his senior year and had chance for mvp and a football scolarship to any college he wanted! :( :( :( :(
