@domram12 Wow, that's an insightful analysis of 'marriage' (times 3!). I wonder what your biases are. If this is your experience, fine (though I feel sorry for that child). But don't think you've just coined *the* definition of marriage.

@chocolatepoundcake YOU KNOW WHAT SLAVERY IS? MARRIAGE!!!!, because a woman and a man are BOUND by terms where they are FORBIDDEN to see other partners. Thus the woman becomes a sex slave for the man's needs, and the man becomes the money slave for the woman's needs. And then the man becomes a DIVORCED MONEY SLAVE when hes forced against his will to pay extremely unfair child and woman support amounts including loosing half of what he earned humself.

@thatgaybloke WHAT EXPLOITATION? Adults can make a choice to sell sex or not, THAT IS NOT SLAVERY OR EXPLOITATION, that is freedon of choice.

I'm not sure what you're trying to tell me. If you are opposed to prostitution because it seems troubling to you, that's your opinion and you're welcome to it. You're also welcome to argue against prostitution with that rationale. All I was saying is that calling prostitution "slavery" is a ridiculous way to argue against it - prostitution is not slavery.

@domram12 I don't think that paying to support a child you've helped bring into the world is unfair. It would be more unfair for someone to expect society to take up the slack because they are unwilling to support their own offspring. If a man sees his wife as purely a sex slave, or she sees herself as such, then that says more about their relationship than it does about marriage. In any case, marriage isn't a requirement for holding another person as a "slave" in this way.

@thatgaybloke If someone is unhappy in a marriage, or any relationship, then they should be entitled to walk away from it. I'm not an advocate of the idea that marriage needs to be forever - if it's not working and is making both parties unhappy then they should be allowed to move on with their lives.

@thatgaybloke I'm not an advocate of people walking away from their responsibilities either. If a person is "responsible" enough to bring a child into the world, they need to step up and be responsible enough to support that child with money, love and time. Anyone who isn't prepared to make that commitment to a child has no business bringing that child into existence in the first place.

- Since you ask: There is indeed a difference between driving a cab for $, vs. having sex with hundreds of strangers!
- 6:06 Your argument that it's not the trade that's exploitation, but the conditions is illogical...tell me what your ideal society would look like with legal prostitution & no exploitation. Did I say NO SEXISM & VIOLENCE either? Contributing to prostitution IS "unscrupulous"!
- 6:14 "The ppl w/o skills & options [..] get exploited": sums up pretty much all prostitutes, LOL!!!!
