"dissolve parliament"? Uhm. No. They plan to use the lawfully elected parliament to represent the Canadian people who did not vote for the Conservatives in a majority. The majority voted for the other three. And the other three will therefore represent us. It's perfectly ethical.

Fiscally suicidal too, I live in Ontario and lost my job at the Toronto District School Board when Bob Rae was in power and when the NDP threw the Ontario economy into the toilet. You were in diapers at that time, this is a crisis on a crisis.

Well you may not like the other parties platforms or fiscal policy, but thats just your opinion. That doesn't mean this isn't a perfectly valid move for the government to make. The majority of Canadian's are against the Conservative plan. It is undemocratic for the oppositions to be blocked from doing this.

.....You guys should do some parlementary studie 101. Whats happening here is perfectly democratic, its in the constitution. Secondly you don WIN a governement, you form one, we are not in a republic. COnsequently in fact anyone from any party can FORM the government as long as the majority of the chamber agree. Finaly, Harper got 37% of the canadian vote...in 59% participation election stop talking about rep, cause the cons doesnt rep much. Think about that ^_^, peace y'all

Conservative Canadians have to learn how a parliamentary democracy works. If a coalition has the majority of seats, it forms a government. Normal business in Europe. What's the fuss about?
