After a painstaking restoration, we gave our 60+ yr old dad this '56 Cushman Eagle scooter on Christmas morning. He had always wanted one as a kid in the 50's. First time I ever saw him cry!

  • Great restore. I know he's happy. The front brake lever is on the wrong side, tho.

  • Actually the front brake on the old Cushmans is indeed on the left front bar unlike modern motorcycles.

Respect your parents, You only have them once.

  • Keep your America hating posts to yourself, this video is simply about a restoration I did for my father and the joy he experienced receiving it.

  • He Looks Like Santa.

  • Great video, you seem to be a great family, and your dads reaction was pure and genuine, great job guys!!!!! Anyone who posted anything negative about this video is just an idiot!!!!!!

  • Was he crying?

  • What a wonderful video memory you have there. Your Dad's reaction was priceless. He was just like a little kid. I would have been too. I think most of us males come out of the womb loving motor bikes and scooters. This video reminded me of my old cushman and the great memories I have of riding it.

  • Awh that was very sweet, it made me smile. Good for yall.

  • That's just fantastic! What a wonderful job and a wonderful gift for your dad. Thanks for sharing this with all of us.

  • @Joeey You are an idiot, probably still one too.
