WATCHING IN HD HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !

Today I've stumbled on the web page which allows to listen to live radio transmissions in a wide spectrum range (no additional hardware needed on the client side). Among many kinds of strange signals, there are some german music radiostations and plenty of morse code transmissions. Not so long time ago I saw a movie where someone attempted to decode Morse Code signals hidden in "Portal" game. I've tried the same here and it worked! It's quite difficult to get clear transcription (as the signal mostly doesn't have good quality), but it's possible.

update:
on this site you can find many online receivers located around the globe: www.websdr.org

  • Amazing data.. i am curious to know how many data is still roaming in the radio..

What the data and who is encrypting it and for what reason?.. I have free time before the Army and this a great way to spend the free time ...

  • @VoLtrex31 google for 'number stations', may be interesting too

  • @0bo0

What kind of soundcard use the software?

  • @ghostrideronroad I don't know, everything is processed on the server. I think it is several receivers connected to several sound cards sampling with high rate (like 96kHz). You don't need any special hardware on the client (web browser) side,

  • And the website is?..

  • @RoninAvenger websdr.ewi.utwente.nl : 8901 (see annotation at the beginning) unfortunatelly online receiver is not available atm

  • @0bo0 This stuff is scary... but at the same time, very intresting

  • @GeekStop1 It might be military or naval transmittions.

  • @0bo0 Googled... thought you was just pulling me off.. but it is interesting...

Especially when there is no origin for those low frequency waves...
