That goes to show ya ,,not many vocalist could of or even would of tried to fill in for jack russell,,But then again jani lane isnt jus any vocalist,,very talented musician/songwriter,,great at any thing he does,,keep ur shit together dude ,,put out some new tunes 2010,,

I love Jani's voice...it's always been so soothing to me!! he was an amazing musician who is gone too soon!!! Ever since I was a little girl Jani was always my lullabye at night and still to this day some 20 yrs later I still listen to his music when i'm drifting off to sleep....Love & Miss you so much Jani....RIP!!

I hate to be the lone guy who has this opinion, but I don't think that Jani does this nearly as well as Jack. IMHO, Jack Russell has one of the absolute best voices in rock - a soulful kind of too-used and too much whiskey sound, and he still sings as if he means every word, even during the parts where he's practically screaming. God love Jani for filling in, and he does a passable job. It's a shame that he's gone, because some of his Warrant stuff is great. But Jack Russell he wasn't.
