wow man, that voice seems to be burping the words out, it's as strange as funny, ha ha

It was the voice of Roland Barthes the french writer and theorist - he plays the voice of the computer but the atmosphere that Godard is chilling and very true of how the modern city can hollow out humanity.
Godard like all great modernist- didn't like modernity much he thought it dehumanizing - when this film became widely known in the 70s it was the time of feminist politics - he showed that that can change - boy was he right!
But Women are always problematic in his work.

the off voice is really oppressive :)

The Alpha-60 wondering about the name discrepancy is like the name alteration in Brazil. It's like this film influenced 2001 the way 2001 influenced VALIS, but also Goadard used pen names in the 60s that later surfaced as names in Star Wars, and Star Wars is like an amalgam of 2001 and Strangelove (the Major Kong X-wing type of outfit version).

Thanks, your right! I thought about it at some time but I lost my original editing files so I didn't. Anyways that's nice! I just saw that Youtube can import .srt files.
