16. Flash Gordon Medley (Queen-Live In Tokyo: 2/13/1981)

Hello you subscribers! I am back after a brief break, and lets start the fun again! This is a re-upload of Queen's 2/13/1981 concert. The original source was great, but it was slightly distant, and missed the Tympani solo. With the help of some Queenzone members, I have found a digital clone of the master tape in nearly perfect quality. To date, this is the best source of this concert! To make things better, it's complete!

Freddie's voice is in good shape overall, but like the other Japan 1981 concerts, that good shape is off-set by vocal instability: He tends to crack and break on random notes (not all of them are high note attempts)! It's not as bad as the later gigs, though. So I think you'll be fine! This concert is generally considered to be one of the better Japan 1981 concerts (and possibly the best one).

Note: As usual, Freddie makes up lyrics in "Need Your Loving Tonight."

Note 2: Someone jumps on the stage before "Save Me." You can hear Freddie yell "get him off!"
