After a long & exciting day at the Mermaid parade we departed Coney Island.
After the Parade we went to the beach where they celebrated the beginning of summer by throwing fruit into the ocean.
It will indeed be a day to remember in the history of Coney Island for the region is under fire from developers who seek to destroy the amusement community.
I say make it like Rye Playland which is a national landmark and is preserved for future generations of people to enjoy.
With wildlife , trees and not a single high rise condo in sight.
It's beautiful.
If we all unite and stand up against the forces of evil who seek to turn coney into another commercial enterprise of corporate America we can save this once great place filled with history.
I shall continue my voyages across the lands and my contribution to save Coney.
To all of you cool people out there who attended the mermaid parade...
Thank you and it was great seeing you all.
See you all someday in NY.
Farewell!
