This is an a cappella version of "Karn Evil 9, 3rd Impression"
sung by vocaloid 初音ミク (Hatsune Miku),
which is a singing-voice synthesizing software (vocal android).
Miku sings all parts (including drums).
No sound effect is used (even for the "computer's voice").

  • Having grown up in the 70's listening to this music, I have to say this is the most BRILLIANT and MASTERFULLY ENTERTAINING version of this song I have ever heard! WELL DONE! VEry addicting, I listened to it over and over. The "pa pa pa pa" is hypnotic.

  • Thank you very much!

MP3 is available now. (See the video info)

    Enjoy!

  • ...oh...my...god. This is simultaneously the best and worst version of this song I have ever heard.

  • A computer singing the 3rd impression of Karn Evil 9? How brilliantly ironic. Just goes to show you how prophetic this song really is.

  • すげええええええ!!感動した!!

its insanely incredible! great fu×king job!!

  • Omg dies ist was ich nicht einmal

  • Does Miku-chan actually speak English with Japanese inflection? Seriously, if you ask her to speak English, she sounds like a Japanese girl speaking English, not just some voice speaking English? That's too precious.

  • Sorry, I have to laugh. This is quite amusing in a shaking head wtf way.

  • Poor ELP

  • I love ELP, I love vocaloids, and as others have pointed out this is brilliantly ironic. This pushes all the right buttons for me. I ought to love it. Somehow, though, the mispronunciations, acceptable in other vocaloid songs, grate here ("no man yields who flies in my sheep!"). Don't worry, though: the second half makes up for everything. The second half is brilliant. The whole thing would be great, in my opinion, as an a capella "instrumental" with no attempt to pronounce the words.
