@brasilianboy1793 Coz they've been in the red those days I suppose. Starfox Assault was given to NAMCO, and they paid for a full orchestra version there, but Nintendo didn't want to give away TP (much like the Oracles to CAPCOM), I suppose.
But there's hope: How often did they re-release LttP and OoT? And upgrated them...?

I listen to this while driving in a car.
Just picture how awesome it feels.

MOST HEROIC THING IV'E EVER HEARD
-
@kyuzosensei It's for Skyward Sword.

@brasilianboy1793 mainly cuz' a midi soundtrack can be change on fly, for example, you get to a monster and sundenly the field theme change. If can`t do that on an fully orchestra soundtrack cuz it's all pre-recorded and you can't add changes on fly.

It was sad this game never had an orchestrated soundtrack. it would have made it sound much better than how it does already. im glad skyward sword has an orchestrated soundtrack.

No, the reason why the game wasn't orchestrated was NOT because of disc space--music files aren't THAT big. What stopped it was the whole issue with variable mix--something present in Zelda games since Ocarina of Time--music that changes depending on how close you are with enemies, where you are on the map, and other things. Other games that used this are Skies of Arcadia and Banjo-Kazooie. This is very difficult to do with orchestra, but we might get it with Skyward Sword.

@brasilianboy1793 it's both :)

Whatever Zelda game this theme is meant for, this is the cleanest and most EPIC ever!!!
-
@brasilianboy1793 because, as a gamecube game, they didn't have space on the disk.
Why the twilight princess soundtrack was not entirely orcheastrated I will never know. Kick ass game though.

@brasilianboy1793 They used it as a placeholder theme for the SS trailer since they mustn't have completed any suitable SS music or maybe even not done the main theme yet.
