i tied the yellow dancer ages ago and I being scottish think its a great fly. You should use red 8/0 thread on a size 10 long shank and have a bottom section of marabou, then a middle and on the middle place a hot orange bead and secure it over the marabou using superglue. then a top section of marabou. i also tie it with chain bead eyes.
had a big rainbow on this fly just yesterday. First cast in.
that is a good looking fly, but i'm sorry to say that is a woolly bugger. i have been tying for many years and that is the exact same way i do my woolly's. either way it is a good fly and he does a very good job explaining. thanks for the video
What lenght of leader should u use for this lure and is a #5 rod heavy enough to cast it

I love this fly. I've used it for years and caught many trout on it. It's very good in winter. The video is great because they are expensive to buy.
