chromatics: running up that hill (w/ night drive intro)

This was a Party Promo video for the May 25, 2008 "Italians do it better" record label showcase inside San Francisco's Rickshawstop.

A little back story for those wondering "?":

One day I recieved a myspace message ('08 representin) from a promoter friend asking for a possible party promo video for the coming label showcase. Coincidentally, I had been listening to this song like every waking moment of my life on that particular week, so... being super humbled (& super stoked) by the oppurtunity, I bolted to my work space to see what could manifest. The video content came primarily from grabbed dolls, childrens books, and whatever was laying aound for God knows what reason (seriously). I set up my way-too-big-to-be-modern apple computer, to utilize its imovie camera and program, and improvised the story line & editing as I went along.

24 non stop hours later, this was the product. Lets just say, she saw the sun come uuup.

I hope you enjoy the video & l.o.v.e the song. As always with these guys, it was a fantastic party. Love to you all.

@whatismyname5151 and boy did i learn my lesson that day now i do all my experimenting in secret tlike tucking my sack back i'm proud that you experiment openly you'r ea real paragon of progressive reform. did you ever think about going into politics? i bet you could be the mayor or something that would be so neat. then you can have city wide festivals where you show off your art and it would better the populace and i bet crime and littering would be at an all time low!!!

this video is avante garde and experimental right i think that is so cool my girlfriend said she wanted to be experimental too one time but then she dumped me for her softball coach so be careful not to experiment too much or it can come back and burn you but a little bit like this is okay i guess except for the dolls they're scary and my dad hit me with a ruler one time when he saw me playing with my sister's polly pocket
