Around 1988 me and little bruv saw them at the Woolmington hotel in Sherborne and also at the butterfly farm with the Waltones another fine band.

the chesterfields take me back to late eighties early nineties, remind me of Brilliant Corners , bought this album in vinyl and now have it on cd

I come from Yeovil and used to work for a very short time with "pop" Barber - fantastic bloke. Seems amazing they never got the coverage they deserved. RIP in Dave - Up the Glovers!

saw the play the Southampton Polygon around 1988 - no stage - just played on the floor. totally unexpected how good they were live!
remember a few years later watching the bassist's band BASINGER play in London - only 2 of us in the audience! still it numbed the pain of the earlier nights defeat at the hands of Barnet (Barnet 3 Carlisle United 2)!!
