@narcotect :) yeah man, it is a demo.. I don't criticize, I say facts. We talk about Rafik not some dude who just farted some shit he waxed..

I know he spent tons of hours to develop this set to get it right in every detail. I know very well how time consuming it is to make such thing..

But.

In my opinion it's boring. there is no soul in it..

Considering his family background and his skills in piano, cello, drums an so.. you get me?

As I have gotten into scratching myself, I realize there are certain limitations when it comes to playing specific sound patterns unless you have the custom vinyl made. Scratch records put compatible sound next to each other so you can jump back and forth with ease, barely a quarter to half turn of the record. You can find cool sounds that may span over 3-4 records, or at the beginning or end of a record, but would be impossible to play without digital sample. Tracktor scratch pro

@joeycost What's the point of using custom vinyl, when nobody but you recognises the beat you're juggling? Compare that to, say, Dexta's 'Purple Haze' juggle, which can be appreciated by everyone, including people who are old enough to be grandparents.

Most of this stuff will just sound like noise to you until you brain learns how to interprit the drum patterns.
