I think the only beef between spongers and surfers is between the kooks, theres SO many shithouse stand-ups in NZ thinking theyre awesome when they really need to see themselves on video and be deeply humbled..Good surfers and good bodyboarders will always have respect for each other...(BTW Im a stand-up surfer but have many good bodyboarding mates..)

Was a stand up surfer for over 15 years but converted to bodyboarding - I can surf heaps more uncrowded spots that I wouldnt have otherwise. Short punchy hell barrels with no one around!!!! Whats up with the crap between surfers and bodyboarders, didnt we leave that shit back in the ninties!!
