on the topgear test track i belive every ford is faster than every vaxhaull even tho the mondeo has a 3.0 where as the vectra has a 3.2 its just vaxhall have it in there heads giving a car a biger engine will make it faster before looking into geting the most out of a smaller one im sorry but new vaxhals are going down hill

@Larry3200 Yep i have mondeo 2.5 v6 @ 151kw it's better than any golf or polo or something else like a bunny car :D Mondeo is not big but normal car handles right price is very good and engines still kicking in nowadays :) FUCK DIESEL powered engines it sucks in all cars black smokes and engine sound kar kar kar its shit...

I always wanted one of these when i was kid, i have an m3 now but bought a st24 for the winter. tho it isnt as quick as id thought it would be its not a bad car and think its looks pretty badaas.

Especially mine cuz its got a Deathproof Skull on the bonnet.

ignore these haters. mondeos are decent reliable cars, and you have the best engine for a mondeo, it sounds awesome, one of my favorite v6 sounds :)

Also i'm way past wanting an ST24 i have gone for something alot better....... Also where you getting ur info on a twin turbo A6...... Cus all i can find are single turbo A6'S....

I've done this, utilised my stock airbox but converted it to what is essentially a sealed cold air induction kit, by gutting the box vis a vis removing the stock intake pipe which protrudes into the box and adding my own cold air hose from the front of the car and putting it into the box, and a K&N panel, my car picks up much better like this!

U may have got better power by removing the filter but using air box, this get colder more dense air from outside, and the length of the induction pipeing is important.
