About The Play -

YAKSHAPURI is a symbol and machinary of exploitation which wrenching in its all-encompassing claws the wealth of the nature. It envisions that the capitalistic, utilitarian approach of society which eventually destroys human values. The progress of science with the attendant regimentation of work, exploitation of technology leads to dehumanization, diminishing human compassion causing an ecological imbalance. The play ends with the belief of a better future for the human race, free from the shackles of the YAKSHAPURI....

N.B. Its a Multilingual play. In this play Director has used 5 languages..in between 4 languages are from India like Tamil, Malayalam, Telegu and Bengali and another one is Norwegian....
