Video montage of send-off for WWII veterans on their "Honor Flight" to Washington, DC. The "Honor Flight" program is supported by funds raised by local schools, to allow those who served in the Second World War an opportunity to see the new WWII monument. Each veteran is accompanied by a volunteer assistant/guardian on the tour, which starts with the busride from Conroe to the airport in Houston, at around 5 AM. NOTE: This video contains no distinct spoken audio and the volume has been reduced to prevent distortion from the backround noise.
I am so glad to be around these great group of people every Wed. They are just wonderful!
