When this is playing while Cyan's talking with his family in WoR Doma, that got pretty emotional. It was a cutscene you just didn't see in other sprite-era Final Fantasies, and the music is what really made it. You had to be soulless to not keep Cyan in your party after that.

Maybe Cyan wasn't the strongest character in FF6 but in my opinion he had the best reason and motivation for revenge.
