This is how you knit and make a bamboo pattern.
RS row: *yo, K2, slip yo over 2K*, repeat *-*.
WS row: purl all sts
If working in the round you work every other row in bamboo sts and knit every other row.

  • May I ask what size needles you are using? I like how the stitches aren't too tight.

  • @hereshopingforfame We are using US size 13 = 9mm and the bulky yarn is DROPS Eskimo.

  • @amandie825 the yarn we use is our DROPS Eskimo. It's available in yarn stores worldwide. You find listings and more info, color cards etc on our website garnstudio . com

  • Odd or even number of stitchs to start pattern?

  • @JanREBEL Hi, you should have an even number of sts, both when working back and forth and when working in the round.
