This was a beautiful tribute. sigh......you know the saddest part of this girl's life was that all she wanted was for someone to stay with her and love her forever. Since that didn't happen she tried to fill that void elsewhere. Truthfully she would have been better off if she never got into the business. May she rest in peace.

The term lesbian derives from an inhabitant of Lesbos, so you'd be more likely to say 'she is a Lesbian', just as you'd say 'she is an American'. Maybe? It does feel that that 'a lesbian' is more of a tag, more completely defining than 'gay' used as an adjective, which sounds relative or descriptive of just one aspect of a person.
