this drill allows you to work with large groups at once.
Set out 12 cones in a circle (clockface)
Place different coloured cones at 12, 3, 6 & 9 o clock.
Divide the group into teams and get teams to stand behind the different coloured cones at 12, 3, 6 & 9 o clock.
That cone then becomes that teams 6 o clcok (the way you would look at a clcokface)
That means they are 4 clockfaces in operation at once.
The Coach calls out a number.
12 for example.
The person at the front of the team at that cone would run to 12 oc clock and back. This would mean 4 people would run across the circle and back.
3 for example
The players would run to the colourted cone to their right.
Athletes involved are current or past Tynedale Colts
Will definitely be using this drill for my groups so I can involve large numbers in the drill.
