Less is more ladies! Less is more!!!

Ladies I got a quick note for you. It's actually gonna be pretty short and sweet. I can't stress enough when I say LESS IS MORE in regards to makeup. More and more, I'm noticing women are caking on the eye shadow, blush, lipstick, mascara, and other things I don't know the name of. Please understand that this is NOT a good look at all when it looks as if you've got an entirely different color face from your body due to the overabundance of makeup. I went to the courthouse today in Hopkinsville to help out a friend of mine and I saw several ladies that had every color of the rainbow on their face and had it caked on so thick they looked like ladies of the night.

The natural look is professional, classy, sexy, beautiful (most people don't know the difference between sexy and beautiful but we'll discuss that another day), and portrays a heightened level of sophistication. When we see women with the "clown face" we think deeper than just the dermal appearance (outer appearance). We think that you have too much going on, we think you have low self-esteem, and judging by the massive amounts of unnecessary work you've done to your face we're probably correct, and to be blunt we think you look like Mimi from the Drew Carey Show. It sets off an alarm with us because you more than likely feel like you are hiding behind this colorful misrepresentation of yourself. It screams that you are uncomfortable in your own skin and you're insecure. Now please don't take this note the wrong way, like I'm saying makeup is bad, because that is not what I'm saying at all. I just think there is a classy, tasteful way to do it.

Don't get me wrong ladies; it's great when you get all dolled up and look good, but splashing a plethora of colors on your face to the point it looks like a Mardi Gras mask is not the key. There's something very intriguing about understated, natural beauty in a woman. So ladies please fire Mimi as your makeup artist, and get a more tasteful look. Walking around looking like you wanna start a dance battle cause you look like a Cali Krump crew is not a good look at all!
