For all those hating on this mecha you have to watch the original japanese series to fully appreciate it. The US cut so many things out. Magicians are what the rangers are called and like magicians these a symbolic animals and of course like magicians they have them do tricks and such. The actual name to this guy is MajiLegend because this mecha is part of a legend of how the rangers before them had created them.
