@CommonRaven I know this is an old comment, but I'm totally with you on the know-nothings legislating away the choices with dogs. I have dobermans, one with long tail, and we've spent nearly a GRAND already for pain meds and wraps and bad vets pumping her full of medications for breaking her tail. It happens all the time, she smacks it on everything all the time, breaks like a twig. I won't have another tailed doberman, that much is clear... we do adore her, but sheesh...

I love them with the ears cropped too.. makes them look tough!
But here in Australia its illegal now to have the ears cropped and tail docked. I was lucky to get mine with is tail docked just before the legislation came in. But cropped ears has been illegal for agessss!
