  • hey, do the p85 have auto sustain or you need to use a pedal? I might buy a p85 in november

  • @AndersonReis42

    you need a pedal

I recommend the LP-5 pedal set, better than the one included

  • I tested YAMAHA P-155, P-85, KORG LP-350 today

sound quality is Yamaha, it's a bit strange but P-85 sounded slightly better than P-155,

but Key touch is LP-350 absolutely, different level though

Feeling of P-85 key isn't really hammer, rather smooth & not deep like real acoustic compared to LP-350, but still affordable,

  • @TheStunningThing

maybe the location of the keyboards matter to. this keyboard sounded awesome for its class but then when I moved to a different room, different flooring furniture etc, it sounded not as quite as good. maybe ill relocate it again :)

  • How do you add synth and etc.

  • @laxdude1995

you can only select 2 voices at a time. strings, electric piano1,2 etc

  • Something I have noticed, it sounds quite nice through the built in speakers (except if the volume is on full, you can hear it peak out occasionally), but if you run it though any external speakers, the true sound is very bassey. I had to practically turn off lower frequencies to get a crisp sound out of it again.

  • @LedzA08 YOu dont _need_ the Pedal. You WANT a pedal. ;-)

  • the sound is average.

  • p85 vs p95. which has the better piano sound.

  • hello, does this come with a sustain pedal or do you need to buy 1?

  • Are the keys good? Or do they make a "snapping" noise?

  • I have touched the keys of the Arius and felt quite satisfied by it but since I have no way to get close an P85 I do not know whether it'd be better or any different at all, at what quality and level. I tested Arius, I liked the keys, but I don't know the feel of the P85. Last thing, would there be any difference between a description of graded hammer standard of the P85 and the graded hammer as described in the Arius? Is "graded hammer standard" different from "graded hammer" of the Arius?
