  • Where did you find the pattern?

  • @Angie6130 I found the pattern here on youtube, i just typed in towel toppers and many tutorials came up, I chose the one by theresa, and I changed the patter a little, I used a half double crochet so it doesn't take quite as long to make, I hope you enjoy making these neat toppers! they make wonderful gifts.

  • I used a half double, then I purchased buttons, because I really don't make the crocheted one very well ones even though I practice. But I think the buttons I purchased were very cute. I would love to get your pattern for the pot/skillet handle covers! Let me know or make a video!

  • @grammissy I am so sorry I did not see your request for the skillet handle cover until I re-watched this video almost a year later!!!! You've probably figured it out by now lol.

BTW I dont have a pattern. This is how I made it, and use an I hook or a J hook 1 } Hold 2 strands of kitchen cotton as one then ch 3 sc 8 times in last ch fr hook sl st to join ch1 turn

2 } 2sc in each st around sl st to join ch 1 turn

3 } sc in each stitch around sl st to join ch 1 turn

    4 } continue row 3 until

  • I love these! I made some towel toppers for my mom, and I used SC throughout the pattern, but when I got near the end of the handle I switched to DC instead of making a button hole, it worked great! You can't tell because the button coves most of the row, and its just easy.

  • Excellent crochet work! I started making these and love them. I keep them on hand for gifts. I do a half double crochet so it seems to go even faster. What stitch do you use?

I also made a pot/skillet handle holder/cover to add to the set. I use 2 strands of cotton yarn held together for those
