  • Is there any relation between Robert LuPone and Patti LuPone?

  • Definitely... they're brother and sister!

  • No, this is the oringinal broadway cast. Chorus Line was never off broadway . Hope that helps : )

  • OK, everyone else's gonna tell you this GreenFlower: A Chorus Line was actually BORN off-Broadway, and became a hit off-Broadway. It was created at the New York Shakespeare Festival, and played at the Newman Theatre for 101 sold-old performances before moving to Broadway on July 25, 1975. This clip of Donna is from the Newman.

  • Where on Earth did you find this, and do you have any more!? This is literally the coolest thing I have ever seen. I almost passed out before I even got the chance to watch it.

  • EXACTLY how I felt when I first found it! The whole show was taped by two house cameras. The quality of the B&W video is pretty awful, but it's such amazing theatre history.

  • not only does she dance beautifully, so beautifully but she sings! really sings!!! why doesn't anybody do that anymore????

  • god her passion is so inspiring. that transition into the first phrase of the song is breathtaking

  • this is my great grandma... im a mckechnie

  • You can find it easily.

  • WHERE is the rest of this recording? Is the entire show available anywhere? I grew up on this music but never got the gift of seeing the original cast. Even blurry, the power of the performances in this and the clip of "At the Ballet" is incredible.

  • I saw hwr do this a few years ago in her Life Cabaret. And she was still amazing. Afterwards I had a drink with her at the piano at Martunis in San Franciso. She is so nice And So A Legend
