Hey, I did not know who this man was. I did not want to put anyone particular, as to not offend anyone. I did not know this was a president. He looks very dirty, and I just found this photo, and used it. So it was not an attempt to offend anyone, but actually trying not to offend anyone. So I am sorry if it does offend anyone, but I had no idea who man was. I can not believe he is a president, but I can not change this now, its to hard, or I would. Thanks for your comments.

and again the song is about his personal memorys in kosovo in 1999 where he was the first of the un peacekeepers to enter kosovo city. he is infact saying he no longer sees the glory in war and the only way to stop all the bloodshed and death is to stop fighting thats what he is saying

this song isn't about a single person or a group of people. The lyrics "He has been here" refers to War and Death. They are a presence in this world that we cannot obliterate. James Blunt was able to use his experiences to write this song but it isn't about him. It is about the death and destruction caused by War and Death!!!
