This week, RANs Greenwash of the Week takes on The Copenhagen Accord, a political greenwash of epic proportions.

The Copenhagen Accord was formalized just before UN climate talks resumed in Bonn this past weekend.

Faced with arguably one of the largest problems facing humanity climate change the world gathered in Copenhagen last December with the hope of passing a fair, ambitious, and legal binding treaty.

Instead, we got The Copenhagen Accord, brokered through backroom deals made by the worlds most polluting countries, and touted as a grand achievement by US President Obama.

the earth has 24,000 year climate cycles (as the zodiac is based off of) which controls the Earth axial rotation of 2 degrees in either rotation (in 12,000 year cycles). John P Holdren and Maurice Strong both want baby licenses, and Holdren is Obama's science czar. Why dont you read Ecoscience?!?!

@ethogenic You're completely wrong and your science is insufficient to explain the problem. Just like tobacco companies did in the early 20th century, people with vested interest in making money have fed a lot of nonsense into the climate debate & for some reason it has rubbed off. No-one's taxing babies, don't exaggerate. The people that stand to gain from climate change are a small minority of very rich people. The rest of the world will lose, so let's act now, if only for ourselves.

anthropomorphic global warming is a scam if you look @ heating in 1000 or 10000 year graphs (how the climate actually cycles). every planet is getting warmer in the solar system bc of the sun. it causes everything to get heat up, not my farts. maurice strong - "Licences to have babies incidentally is something that I got in trouble for some years ago... that this might be necessary at some point, at least some restriction on the right to have a child." babies = global warming? so i pay tax wt??
