  • Which intersection was this?

  • @jamesc21051979

    It was here:

    maps.google.com.au/maps?q=-31.95766,115.865362&num=1&t=h&vpsrc=0&z=18

  • One of the reasons it was so bad is that Wa wasnt built to cope with storms. We barely get rain so there is no need. Then this happned and the drains were like' oH fuck' and overfilled. The hail was a bitch though....that'd piss anyone off.

I saw the lightning, didnt get the hail but Ive seen some hell damaged cars from it. I hope we have another storm like that without the hail. =P

  • @xXCandy333Xx Well we are coming into another storm season. Cyclones will be pushed further down this year also. They might not reach us but they could bring some big storms and maybe even worse then this one!

  • What's that sound in the back ground... Sortta sounds like a alarm... What happen to the drainage in Perth

  • The building up the roads fire alarm has gone off as a result from the rain. Perth's drains are really poor and can not handle this type of rainfall. If we had another 30 mins of this type of rain it could have been so much worse.

  • @katums141 highlight of the year (except nitro circus coming)

  • I was in it. I was one of the lucky ones that still had their power. I was on the BOM website and black was all over Perth. The hail was the size of golf balls and smashed so many peoples windows. Because Perth hardly gets Cyclones and if we do its always a category 1 cyclone. I was freaking out. Because drains in Perth are so weak the flooded and practically the whole city was under water. Well when I say under water I mean up to knee hight. But it was still very scary.

  • I remember this day, something I will never forget. For people of Perth is was big and scary because we do not get this often but for people that experienced hurricanes, it would of been nothing. We were out of power and had a mini flooded backyard we got from school and had to get my dog inside and clean him him and calm him. We also had to get all our backyard objects under some cover but all can be cleaning and fixed.

  • Lol to the drain shark at the end.

  • kids, look before crossing

  • @katums141 Yes it was. Pity I didn't have a decent camera on me at the time...

  • thats so amazin an cool i luv it

  • Can the Soil in Perth handle much water? Or do they all tend to run-off?
